Steps for KPSC Thulasi one-time registration (2025)
All new candidates who want to appear for Kerala PSC recruitment need to sign-up for a login profile at the PSC Thulasi website for viewing their opportunities and apply for the eligible one. Let’s learn the process of Kerala PSC’s one-time registration in a step-by-step manner.
Step 1: Open the KPSC Thulasi website link given above.
Here, you can see a New Registration link and a Signup button at the right side of the webpage, click on it. KPSC Thulasi does not support mobile browsers at the moment. Therefore, do this on a Mac or Windows PC.
Step 2: It will pop-up a Kerala PSC one-time registration form, as shown below.
The User ID and password you create on this page are going to be your login details for KPSC Thulasi. Enter your Name, DOB, Caste, a provide the details of ID proof, preferably Aadhar. Then accept the declaration and click on the Register button.
Step 3: Once again, open the Kerala PSC Thulasi home page and login with your newly created user ID and password.
You have to complete five more steps to activate and access your PSC My Profile page, starting with Personal Details.
Step 4: The next phase, after filling Personal and Communication details, is uploading a photo and signature. You may not be able to save and proceed if the uploads are not the size (30Kb) and dimensions (150 width x 200 height), as shown in the screenshot.
The photo needs your name and the date (on which it was taken) in the format as shown above. Apart from the size-related errors, you may also see “Face is not in the center (15 X 40)” issue while uploading a picture to KPSC Thulasi- giving enough space between the photo and text part fixes it.
Tick the the declaration part after upload, and click Save & Proceed.
Step 5: Finally, preview and submit PSC Thulasi one-time registration form, after verifying all details.
Keep in mind, it is not possible to edit certain details in your PSC Thulasi profile online that you provide during one-time registration submission. You have to approach a district PSC office to modify details like corrections in your name, etc. So, double-check everything in your profile form before clicking the final submit button.
How to apply for a Kerala PSC exam through Thulasi portal (2025)
In the past, candidates had to submit offline applications if they wanted to participate in any Kerala PSC recruitment (e.g., LD Clerk Exam). Advertisements were also published in newspapers and job bulletins. With the launch of KPSC Thulasi, it has become much easier for people to track Kerala government jobs and apply online for eligible PSC exams from the comfort of their homes. Here is how to submit your applications through PSC Thulasi portal in 2025.
People who log in to their PSC Thulasi profile for the first time should complete a few formalities before they can apply for ongoing opportunities. If the option to apply for a specific vacancy is greyed out, you might be missing certain additional requirements. In your PSC Thulasi account’s My Profile page, click on the appropriate link on the right side to add qualifications, work experience, employment details, and weightage information. Aadhaar linking is also mandatory for participating in Kerala PSC recruitment.
Step 1: Check for the available notifications.
On your KPSC Thulasi homepage, click on the ‘Notifications’ icon to view the ongoing Kerala PSC recruitments. You will also see the total number of live opportunities on the Notifications icon itself.
Step 2: Use the category code search or browse through the different types of recruitment.
Each Kerala PSC exam has a category code. Things are easier if you already know the category code number for the vacancy you are planning to apply for. Just enter it in the provided input field and search, and you will be directly taken to the specific notification page. Otherwise, you will need to search through each type of recruitment in the current window. However, most of the time, it will be under the State-Wide or District-Wide Direct type, especially if you are applying for a highly-demanded position.
Step 3: Download the PSC notification and Check eligibility.
If you haven’t used the category code search, you can scroll through each type of recruitment to locate a particular PSC notification. Once you find it, download the PDF document to read all the requirements for the post, salary, number of vacancies, etc. Here you can also click on the ‘Check Eligibility’ button to see if you are eligible to apply for the job. If you believe that you are eligible but the application button says ‘Ineligible,’ you should work on updating your PSC Thulasi profile.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to start the application.
If you see the ‘Apply Now’ button enabled, as shown in the screenshot in the slideshow, you’re good to go. The KPSC Thulasi web app will fetch your existing details from your profile. If you have higher qualifications for a particular post, you will need to choose one qualification to apply with. Choose an exam center and district, verify your profile image, accept all conditions, and finally submit the application. All applied positions will be available on the Thulasi homepage under ‘My Applications.’
Further communications regarding the applied vacancy will be sent to your phone number and email. If you get any message for Kerala PSC, login to Thulasi account and open “Profile Messages” icon to take further actions.
Troubleshoot PSC Thualsi login issues.
Kerala PSC recently introduced an OTP-based verification for users to login to their Thulasi profile. If you are signing in after a long period of inactivity, you may need to verify your mobile and email before you can access your account. Moving forward, each subsequent login will require OTP verification. In case you forgot your email ID password or have no access to your mobile phone, you will need to visit the district PSC office to change your details, as this process can’t be done online.
Now, if your account is in good standing and you believe that you should be receiving OTPs, understand that the issue is temporary and will likely be resolved in a few hours. It could be a glitch due to server load or maintenance.
It is a known bug in the PSC Thulasi portal, which shows an invalid access code even when you enter the code exactly as shown on the website. What you need to do is clear the cache, turn the Caps Lock on your keyboard ON, and type the code. After typing it in, don’t press the login button right away. Instead, click anywhere around the button on the Thulasi website, and then click login. You can also try re-generating the code by pressing the green refresh button near the access code image
I forgot my KPSC Thulasi User ID, and the SMS recovery is not working. What should I do?
On the Kerala PSC Thulasi website, they provide an option to recover your user ID by sending an SMS to the number 166 / 51969 / 922316616 with the ‘KL USR’ code, but this doesn’t work most of the time, and you may not receive any response. The best option is to search through your phone’s SMS folder and email accounts for communications from Kerala PSC. You may find emails or messages mentioning the user ID, especially if you are able to locate the email received during the PSC one-time registration process or exam applications. If nothing helps, visit the PSC district office in person with your ID proof to get your user detail.
‘Multi-user access not allowed’ is the most common error an applicant would come across in their KPSC Thulasi profile. This happens when they refresh the page or click the PSC Thulasi login page again while being in an ongoing session. The only way to fix it and regain access to the site and what you were doing is to clear your browser’s cache. You can find this option in the browser settings. After clearing the cache, visit the website https://thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in/thulasi/index.php again in a new tab and sign in once again

Kindly go through the article. We have given the SMS codes to reset your KPSC Thulasi password and login User ID. To begin, use the code KL USR and send it to 9223166166. Wait for the SMS from Kerala PSC. Then use the login ID to recover the password. If Vipin is your username, and 01-01-2020 is your date of birth, I use the format KL RST Vipin 01012020.
