Apply IBPS Exam 2024: login for PO, Clerk, RRB, SO application

Although the IBPS exam application form has multiple sections, the good thing is that the registration process is almost same across all IBPS recruitments. So you won’t find a substantial difference in the steps given below, regardless you apply for IBPS PO, Clerk, RRB, or Specialist (SO) exam.

1. Find the link to IBPS exam application form 2024

   To apply for the IBPS exam 2024, the first thing to do is open the registration page. The official website, www.ibps.in portal offers sub-pages for tracking the updates about IBPS PO (Link), Clerk (Link), RRB (Link), and SO (Link) recruitments; browse through them.
   Depending on the recruitment status, you will find the link to the latest application form from the above pages; click on it. (PS: Right now, as on June 2024, IBPS is accepting applications for RRB recruitment). If you want to do registration for IBPS RRB, click on the link above, then Click on the Link “CRP Regional Rural Banks XIII.” Please note that the IBPS form may not load on smartphones if you access it in portrait mode. Now select and appropriate cadre, Assistant or Officer and click on the respective link to proceed to application.

2. Check the schedule of the IBPS exam and start registration

   The IBPS registration page resembles something as shown in the screenshot. The exam schedule is on the left side, and a registration button and login form are on the right side.
   You may start applying for the IBPS exam by pressing the yellow button which reads “Click here for New Registration.” (only during the period specified on the page).

3. Get your for IBPS login ID and password

   The first stage when you are on IBPS form is to get a login ID and password. Before you begin, read the Instructions from the PDF file that is popping-up, and close it.
   
   Now complete the Basic Info part in the form with utmost care. Enter your Name, personal phone number, and an email ID for getting the IBPS registration number. Click “Save& Next.”
   
   

4. Upload photo and signature as per IBPS requirements

   Now you will get IBPS registration number and temporary password, it appears in the top section of the page. Here you can also see an option to upload your photo and signature to IBPS portal.
   
   You can click on the guideline link to download the PDF instruction file, which has the information on the size and dimension of the images to be uploaded.
   
   Use the mouse pointer to browse and upload the documents to the IBPS registration form. If the uploads in the correct format, you see them on your application form; then, you can save it and proceed to the next section.

5. Fill the IBPS RRB, PO, Clerk or SO application form

   Next section of the IBPS application has multiple pages arranged in tabs. And it is the most important part where the candidates enter their educational qualifications, communication address, etc. and make a complete profile.
   
   Here, the applicants select and claim their relaxation benefits based on community and other criteria mentioned in IBPS eligibility requirements. You also need to provide their previous IBPS exam appearances (if any) along with the registration numbers.
   
   The fee amount for the IBPS online registration appears at the end of form as you fill the text boxes. Press the validate button to check whether there is any portion left unfilled. If no errors, click on “Save & Next” when you complete each section.

6. Submit IBPS Bank (organisation) preference

   Sometimes you might also see the option to submit an organisation preferences while applying for the IBPS exam.
   This “order of preference” is taken into consideration if a candidate clears the IBPS recruitment and is eligible for placement in one of the banks in the list.

7. Complete and register IBPS exam application form

   When you proceed from the “Details” page, IBPS shows you fully completed application form in one single page.
   
   Verify all information, confirm photo and signature, agree to the terms, and press the Final Submit button. You won’t be able to change anything in the IBPS application form after this stage.

8. Upload declaration form and thumb impression

   Now comes the option for uploading the declaration form and the thumb impression to the IBPS application form. Candidates need to write the declaration on paper using black ink and then scan and upload the same to the IBPS portal.
   
   Guidelines for making the ” files to be uploaded,” like size, dimensions, and declaration text, are given on the same page.

9. Pay IBPS exam fee and confirm the registration

   Now comes the time to pay the fee amount and confirm your IBPS exam registration. As 2024, the IBPS application fee is 850 INR for candidates (General category) applying for PO, Clerk, RRB, or Specialist Officer (SO) recruitments. However, aspirants who have a reservation (SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM) needs to pay only 175 rupees. The charges include GST and all other IBPS services during the term of recruitment.
   
   IBPS’s partner BillDesk accepts Credit & Debit cards, Wallets, and Netbanking for online payment. The applicant get an SMS and email after a successful payment.

10. Download & print IBPS payment receipt and application form.

    IBPS may require candidates to produce a print-out of their online application form, and the e-payment receipt at the exam center. So make sure that you download and save these documents immediately after doing the registration.
    
    You can do this by signing-in to the IBPS login page for PO, Clerk, RRB, or SO recruitment. After login, click on the links at the top left corner to download and print the required files.
